Q How many categories and sub categories will I be able to create for the products?

A There are no limits. You can create any number of categories and sub categories.

Q How many product items can be added in SmartCommerce?

A Unlimited product items can be added in SmartCommerce.

Q Do the customers require registration to buy the products?

A Yes. The customers need to register themselves to buy the products. Registration is not required to view the product details.

Q Will the customers be able to view the order status?

A Yes. The customers will be able to view the order status after placing the order and making the payment. The administrator can change the order status; view the order details, billing, payment, and shipping details. All this actions can be performed in the admin control panel.

Q How will the customers track their order?

A After placing the order, a tracking number is assigned to each order and is sent to the customers email id. The customers can track the order status by providing the order tracking number.

Q Can the customers cancel the order?

A Yes. The customers will be able the cancel the orders placed provided the orders are not shipped to the destination. Once the orders are shipped, the order cannot be canceled.

Q Can I view the real time inventory of the products?

A Yes. You can view the inventory and stock level of all the items in real time. Customized inventory reports can also be generated.

Q Does SmartCommerce alert the admin about the low stock level?

A Yes. SmartCommerce alerts the admin about the low stock level. For the system to alert the admin about the low stock level, the admin has to set low stock level for each item in the settings.

Q Can I set up promotions in SmartCommerce?

A SmartCommerce comes with powerful marketing tools. You can set up your own promotions in SmartCommerce.

Q Will I be able to give discounts for the items?

A Yes. You can give discount to any product either in percentage or in value.

Q What happens when a particular product is out of stock?

A When a product is added or purchased, the inventory is adjusted accordingly. Eventually, when a product is out of stock, the customers will be able to view the product, but cannot buy it. The 'buy now' option will be disabled.

Q Can I add both content and images for the product?

A Yes. You can add your own content and images for the products in the control panel.

Q What are the reports available in SmartCommerce?

A You can customize and generate your own reports in SmartCommerce based on the customers, inventory, sales, date, month, period, and product and so on.
